Infant and toddler

What do you do when you have an infant who needs multiple naps throughout the day and a 3 year old who just wants to go to all the parks and run and play outside. I'm alone a lot of the time because my husband works weird schedules so my poor 3 year old is stuck with me telling him to either play in our small backyard alone or to stay in the house and find something to do...
maybe its just me but i really don't want to go to a park and try to stay awake sitting on a bench pretending I'm interested in watching my child run in circle while i try to keep my infant calm or asleep. just me?

my daughter was very flexible on where she napped which allowed us to be very active. But I like doing things with my children and showing them new opportunities to learn. It is too bad you don't enjoy your children, I love watching mine grow and learn. Maybe you could put you 3 year old in preschool so he gets a chance to learn and play with others.
