I gave my daughter a hotdog 2 eat,when she ate all she asked for another i told her it doesnt have any more(although it had)..a few seconds after she looked at me and said " Mommy i am not feeling well,i am going to die i need a hotdog!"...

i did laugh but not for her to see, am accustom with her saying that her head,belly or feet is hurting but dieing. i was shock!

Haha, your daughter sounds dramatic. :) That's cute, "I'm going to die I need a hotdog!" Did you laugh? I think it's okay to chuckle at our kids, as long as we're kind about it.

This conversation happens daily with my son, not about hot dogs, but strawberries (or whatever food he likes most at the time):
Jacob: Mom, I need more strawberries.
Me: Not right now buddy, you just ate 5 big ones.
Jacob: But Mom, I like them!
Me: I know, you can have more later. If you eat too many right now you'll get a belly ache.
Jacob: No I won't! I NEEEEED THEM!!!!
He's 4. And I've noticed lately that when he really wants something (food wise), he'll tell me his belly hurts and that he's very hungry and that he NEEEEEDS strawberries (and only strawberries lol). I think it's just a phase. They find something they like and they want to eat a bunch of it because it tastes good.
