I would hardly call Tang a health drink. If you drink it like water, it is far from healthy, so planning to put Tang in your child's water every time he needs a drink is NOT a healthy alternative. I know it claims to have half the amount of sugar as fruit juice, but fruit juice is often watered down for children this age anyway, and that is a LOT of sugar - kids shouldn't be drinking fruit juice every time they need a drink either.

In the long term, you are far better off trying to get him accustomed to drinking more water.
