Is it OK to take a vacation just me and my daughter, and not stepdaughter?

I have a 15 year old daughter, and a 12 year old step daughter. We also have a 3 year old together . We include all kids in any events, holidays, weekend camping trips, etc. My Stepdaughter doesn't treat me with great respect, but she tolerates me. I include her in everything, including chores, and responsibilities; and discipline (which usually involves tears). My family tries their best to include her, but she usually chooses to go off and be by herself. I am planning a trip out of state to see my brother. We can't really afford to take any kids with us, so I was going by myself. My brother overheard that my daughter wanted to go with, and since they have such a strong relationship, he offered to pay for her to go with. None of us really wants SD to go with since she goes on various trips with her BM, and doesn't show much interest in us anyway. Her BM won't let her even stay a weekend with me if BF(mu husband) isn't around, so I wouldn't think she would let her go on a trip with me without BF. My dilemma is, her BF, my husband, will think that I am being unfair for not finding a way to take stepdaughter on this trip. Am I being selfish in only wanting to take my daughter? She hasn't been on a trip(airplane) since she was 5, and my stepdaughter goes yearly.

I think it is ok this time since your brother is paying for it to just be the one daughter to go with you.
