Is it okay for babies to not poop normally when being introduced to solids?

Hi everyone! My baby girl turns six months old this week and has been eating solids for about a week now. She has only pooped twice in that week. We are now on day three with nothing.. Is it normal for babies to do this when first being introduced to foods?

It can be but I'd ease up on the solids until she has pooped in case she is constipated. When introducing solids only do it in tiny amounts and stuff that easily digestible.

A little bit of brown sugar in tiny bit of warm water can help if she's constipated. Don't over do it though and only when needed.

Make sure she's still getting plenty of fluids too. I would only give solids probably once a day until your digestive system has gotten use to it. Then after a while when she's still showing signs of being hungry introduce another lot of solids and all very small amount. Like a teaspoon.

Although she may seem like she is still hungry sometimes babies don't know when they've had enough. If she's still fussy or hungry give her regular breast or bottle. Hope this helps :)
