Is it possible I could be pregnant or just my breastfeeding affecting my periods?

I have been breastfeeding my son for 10 months now. He has been taking baby food and not nursing during the night anymore. I have been having regular periods for about 7 months now and they have been 31 cycle days each month. My husband and I decided we would try to have our 3rd child since it took us a long time to conceive before. This month on the day my period was due I wiped and saw a very small spot of pink on the toilet paper. I assumed my period would follow but I saw nothing else afterwards. It is now 3 days late and when I took a pregnancy test it was negative. Is it still possible we could be pregnant or is it just my period disappearing because I'm nursing my son still? I do feel tired and have been experiencing a few pregnancy symptoms but I don't want to get my hopes up just yet. Has this happened to anyone else?

yes you still could be pregnant wait a week and take another test if that one is negative you should see a doctor to find out why you are not having your period

Oh wow that's crazy! I hope I am but I am now sort of having cramps so who knows...I'm gonna wait until Friday and if I still haven't started I'm going to take another test.

It is always possible, if you are active, that you could be pregnant. I know. I have 5 children. I became pregnant with my 4th child while breastfeeding my 3rd child, having a very light period and using birth control! LOL! Good Luck!
