my baby boy is two month old and until a couple of days ago was drinking 5-6 ounces every 3 hours. but now hes having 6-7 ounces every four hours. He has a bottle about 5.30-6.00am then one about 11am then one about 3pm then one at 7pm then goes to bed. Is he having enough bottles?

Is that every 3 hours around the clock? That would be 40 ounces on the low end. If every 4 hours is also around the clock... that's 36 ounces on the low end.

Never mind... I just read where he goes to bed at 7pm and doesn't have a bottle til 5:30-6am. Missed that at first. ;)

If he's happy, thriving, growing, and wetting enough then he is most likely fine. I only have breastfeeding experience though and even my schedule fed kid wasn't going more than 3 hours between feeds til around 6 months... and wasn't sleeping through the night for quite a while....

Sounds perfect. When I do the math he is getting around 28 ounces a day. He was getting around 20 ounces a day when eating more often but chances are he had an additional bottle in that feeding schedule HOWEVER his total daily intake was still less, at around 24 ounces than he is eating now:)
