Hi fellow mom's,
Was hoping to get some Info on a good age to start feeding my baby, and what signs should I look for that she's ready? Which solid foods to start with, what brands of jar food are the best? This is my first baby i have a lot of questions and so excited to introduce her to solid foods:)

6 months is a good time to start feeding them food. Baby gerber rice cerel and milk is a good start for solids and then gradually work your way up to jars. They usually have stages on them and it is good to give them a fruit and vegetable. Meat is usually introduced at 9-11 months. Usually after there first birthday you start feeding them table food. When my son was 10 months old I gave him a breadstick and he ate it, and he started refusing baby food, so he started on table food a little early.

Typically it is best to wait til 6+ months. If you do baby led weaning (you'd have to look it up, as I am no expert... just had a kid that wasn't ready for solids) then jar food is never necessary. Avocado and sweet potatoes are both good starter foods.
