Our son starting sleeping through the night at about 1 week old, 6 hours at a time, which at that age is considered sleep through the night. However his sleep patterns changed several times within his 2 years of life, which is very common for a lot of children. When our son is teething or going through a growth spurt his sleeping patterns tend to change a bit or he may become a bit restless at night. Our son turned 2 this past October and sleeps from 8pm till 7am every day. :) Well that is unless he's up a little later on the weekends playing with Mommy and Daddy :) I would guess that your daughter could be teething or going through a growth spurt. Good luck!

my bubs just over 5 months old and doesnt sleep through the night, (he did 2 nights in a row once but thats it) my child health nurse told me its completely normal for them to wake 1 or even twice, and they can do up until they are like 6 years old! well i hope that doesnt happen. Just be patient all babies are different

my baby girl just turned nine months and has been sleeping through the night since she was about three months or so. she has always slept through from about 8pm-7am without fail except for a night or two when she was teething. after some oragel and tylenol though, she slept just fine. your baby may just be going through a growth spurt, give her a couple of days. i know it's hard to wait it out when you are so used to sleeping through the night as well. =) good luck and i hope she gets back to sleeping for you!

my baby will be14 months soon...she still wakes up during the night. My doctor said try giving her more calories during the day, like fruit cups or pudding....guess what??? It did not work....i think because she is a breast fed baby she is accustom to it she is being that way.. I am just waiting this one out because i am a stay at home mom....Good Luck!
