Hey Mommas-
I have a question and want to know if I am the only one who experienced this...
I have been on the IUD for 2 years now in the beginning my body was still getting use to the IUD so I would spot here and there for a few months....After being on it for awhile about 4/5 months ago I got really sick, fever/chills, I was really sore, it hurt to have sex and to pee...this lasted about a week then I finally went to the doctors to see what was going on with me...They said they couldn't find anything but they didn't even give me a pregnancy test. They did check my (area) said it looked irritated but was fine? So I was confused why my body was acting like this, I started to spot and then came to the point where it was like I had my period again...I don't get my period anymore so I thought this was weird....a couple days later I went to sleep and woke up at like 1 in the morning and I felt like I peed the bed ...but it was just blood everywhere...I got up and started to walk to the bathroom and just blood was everywhere every step I took (it wouldn't stop) I started to freak out (obviously) I mean who wouldn't. . ha SORRY if this is TMI but when I went to the bathroom I pulled down my underwear and there was just big amounts of blood clots along with all the bleeding....it wasnt just one there were 3/4 of them....I called my mom and she told me to call a nurse, I went in the next day and took a picture of what came out of me and explained to my doc how much bleeding I had.....she said it looked like I had a miscarriage and finally took a pregnancy test and came back negative? .... I mean I guess it would come back negative if I just had a miscarriage but I am just confused....Did I have a miscarriage or did I bleed because of my IUD? Did my IUD cause me to have those blood clots and me bleeding?....b/c lemme tell you this I have never experienced something like that in my life it wasn't like a normal period.
