Just wondering .... I want to take my 11 mo old off formula and start milk but I'm not sure how to go about doing this... Thoughts?

Not sure how other mums do this, but when I put my son on to milk I started by mixing a little milk with his formula. Over a few days (providing his tummy is coping) increase the amount of milk while decreasing the amount of formula. Eventually you will get to point where you will be adding a small amount of formula to a full drink of milk. Then just stop adding the formula. How long this proccess takes depends on how well his tummy copes with the change. Take it slowly and you shouldn't have any problems.

When we switched our son over to milk we started out 50/50 milk and formula and every few days added more milk and less formula he was on milk totally by maybe 2 weeks.

I switched to milk at 10.5 months with my first and 11 months with my second. Their weights were fine and that was what my doctor said he looks for.

We offered milk in a sippy during the day and either breast milk or formula in the evening and then eventually switched those over to milk as well. We also warmed the milk a little bit for the first couple of months.

i started doing the switch at 11 months also and by the time he turned 1 he was completly on milk. I did the same as what Sharon had said - I increased the amount of milk every 4-5 days to give his tummy lots of time to adjust to each new amount. (it was recommended to me by his pedi to begin the change over to milk between 11 and 11.5 months)

Ditto what Sharon said but wait a month unless the dr told you to switch early.
