It is a theory, but not proof of anything. It has found studies that support the theory, but correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation. There are many other things that it *could* be that could may also be supported by those studies. We should be wary always dosing our kids up with medicines, regardless, they don't need it every time they run the slightest fever, BUT, take this article as it is, simply a possible theory.
