We used G-Diapers. They have a disposable, biodegradable pad that you can toss or flush. We'd get through a few changes before having to wash the liner and diaper.

We love FuzziBunz. I currently have my 4-month-old and two-year-old in them. I prefer the snaps to velcro: they don't get gummed up in the wash and my two-year-old can't get them off at nap time. There is a cloth diapering group here on FaceBook. You'll get lots of opinions there too.

Fuzzi bunz!  My son wore the petite toddler size for 2 years and then we passed them on and a girlfriend used them for another 8 months and they worked great.    Bum genius are also really good.

I love the one size Bum Genius - they are easy to clean and can be used up to 35lbs.

There are a whole lot out there!!! My suggestion is to do your research and see what you like. Some of my favorites are Fuzzi Bunz, Thirsties, and G diapers. I have been cloth diapering for 13 months and love it !!!!

I used cloth diapers for years. I got the uber thick diapers from a diaper service (the frayed ones they sold), and I would use velcro diaper covers, with the diaper folded in thirds to be extra absorbent. I used a diaper pail without soaking solution, but with a good lid. I would swish out poopy ones in the toilet. Finally I would wash them with detergent and bleach. It really wasn't all that hard, I felt better about doing it verses using throw away diapers, and my babies bottoms loved the cotton!
