Making leaving DD easier?

My 20 month old daughter is all mommy-girl but lately as soon as daddy says he's going to work she flips out. Makes me wonder if she's becoming more daddy's girl which would make me miss my mommy girl but also glad that she wants to be with her daddy. How can I make daddy going to work something that's easy on all of us? Lately she throws a tantrum and starts crying until her daddy picks her up and refuses to let me hold her. We've tried different tactics like having him carry her out to the car while he loads up what he needs to take, had him start saying he was going 20 minutes before he was gonna go without making a big fuss about it, and have had him say he was gonna go and just leave while she was screaming and crying on the floor.I can definently use some help!

unfortunately this is a stage and it will pass with time, make the routine the same all the time just pick one and go with it eventually she will get used to it and stop making a huge fuss.
