Milk supply low and feeling discouraged

Today I am actually thinking of throwing in the towel. My supply has been low since day one; I made about 4 oz a day. Now it has dropped to two ounces. I pump 5-8 times a day for 30 min to an hour. For the last month only a few drops come out so I have to squeeze every bit out by hand. It's probably stress; if you can imagine the worst partner mine wouldn't be too far from it I am sure. He is finally moving out which is a very good thing. I don't have to be afraid anymore or hear him say how he hopes the baby dies of cancer, ect. I start the nursing program at the end of January and I don't think the professors will allow me to take breaks every 2 hrs. Is it worth pumping so much if hardly any milk comes out? Is there any benefit of 2 oz a day? Sorry for sounding so negative. It has taken so much energy not yo allow depression to set in. I don't want my little boy exposed to it through my milk. It is a release to write about what's going on because I can't really tell anyone what I'm going through . Thank you

Is there a reason you are pumping and not breastfeeding? Pumping is not nearly as efficient at getting the milk as a latched baby.

And I am really sorry to hear you have such an unsupportive partner. What horrible things for him to say :( I hope that things improve for you when he moves out. Make sure you file for custody and child support! Talk to a lawyer and get it done as soon as you can.
