I got mine a little over two years ago,6 weeks after the birth of my second daughter. These last 2 years I have been depressed, fits of anger, irritation and sudden bouts of crying for no reason. Just horrible mood swings
thought I was going crazy. Today I called my Dr upon my husbands request. We both feel the Mirena IUD is contributed to this. I am having it removed this Friday I pray this will help and pray I can be the person I was before. Ladie if you have this IUD and suspect contributes to mood swings please talk with your Dr. It has caused my husband and I to contemplate divorce several times. I wish the best for any women going through this. I will never get back the 2.5 years of my life I have been struggling against. I do hope this is helpful.
