moving in a week, should I try to put my daughter in for nap during?

she usually wakes up at around 730, naps around 945-10, which is when the movers will be loading the truck. should i rock her to sleep outside and try to transfer her to car seat when we go or what?

Let her stay up and sleep in the car, then you can unload the truck while she finishes her nap (If your move is local) If it's a long distance move, she'll sleep well in the car if she usually sleeps well in the car.

I would try to keep your child's schedule. If she has a nap then, is there someplace she take a nap? Maybe moving the boxes out of a room so she can sleep in it in a movable play pen/crib. My daughter freaked out when we moved and she was 2 months old. So I kept one room semi the same till the day we moved. Everything else went, but we saved one room for last. I mean we packed things in boxes and moved out bulk items, then I kept her in there to make it easier. It helped keeping her there after that. Try to keep her schedule the same as possible as a change can really disturb babies then it's hard to get back to the normal schedule.

Does she fall asleep in the carseat? If so, and you aren't needed at the house, you could drive her around for a bit and then leave the car somewhere in the shade with the windows down/doors open so she can nap in the car while you finish loading the moving truck.

If there's a bit of a breeze, I think napping in the car could be very pleasant. I have often left my son in the carseat to finish a nap if we've driven home and he fell asleep. Just make sure it's not too hot or stuffy.

I would just try to keep her up till you leave and let her fall asleep in the car.
