my 15 year old daughter had hip dysplacia surgery 2 years ago t was called the shelf procedure and was the lesser of 2 operations the surgeon could perform.it hasnt worked her symptoms of pain and limping are getting worse yet the surgeon said he believes he can do no more. i have read on line that the shelf procedure is now outdated and the p.a.o. is now preferred i really want my beautiful daughter to have a chance , i want this op for her but im gonna have to fight the medical profession to get it. Has anyone had a similar experience please help!
