My three year old daughter has been pretty much potty trained for the past three to four months, potty training was a bit of a struggle to get it started but once we got it going it took off, we did the sticker chart and she seemed to have grasped the concept to the point where she now and has only worn pull ups at bedtime. A little while ago she stopped asking or expecting a sticker after going potty, so i figured she knew what going to the potty was and didnt need the reward anymore, she has been doing really well up until about three days ago, she was watching cartoons and totally peed on the couch, now knowing she still might be in the learning phase i didn't really make a big deal about it but i did ask her why did she not go potty in the big girl potty like she always does to which she flat out told me "i was watching cartoons and was being lazy" so i took away her cartoon privilege and explained to her why she lost them and how she had to earn the privilege back. She has been doing the same thing while playing with her toys and her answer again was "i didn't feel like going to the potty cause i was playing with my toys" so she lost her toy privilege. That may seem a bit harsh but my question here is this "lazy" thing just a phase and is it normal or am i doing something wrong?

totally a phase! Keep the positive reinforcement, and remove the toys as necessary
