my 4 year old haemoglobin gount is 11.8- just below the 12 acceptable limit. What shld i do?

First off who told you that it was that? If it was a Dr.'s office then they shuld have told you what you need to do. Second.. if the Health dept told you that it was that, then they would hae given you info on it and what to do, such as wic...So if it is of a medical reason you found out then listen to them and do what they tell you, if it was not the health department (WIC) or your Dr officer that told you then I would seek a medical opion on it. When my kids were little that was a good number but if it got below 11 then we had to do something, .2 under is not bad so check with medical personnal such as your DR's office or the health department (wic office)

Ask your doctor, but I would just try to eat lots of iron rich foods. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
