My daughter has had a runny nose for 3 months now and it just never wants to go away. Also has had a cough with it that never went away. Her cough only comes at night and it sounds really dry and in the evenings its sounds congested. I got the humidifier going but that never helps either. I took her to the clinic almost 3 or 4 times now and they told me nothing is wrong (which i doubt). Im still breastfeeding her and shes never had any other milk but mine. The doctors told me it could be mold, allergies, or milk and they even said it could be some kind of lung disease. They were just making guesses..So again im gonna be taking her to the clinic. Its just get getting frustrating now..DOES THIS SOUND SIMILAR TO ANYONE? HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM TOO?

Try putting three drops tea tree oil on the soles of her feet at night time. This stops a night time cough. The skin on soles is very absorbent.
You could also put a bowl with water in by her bed and add a couple of drops of tea tree oil, and maybe eucalyptus oil. Tea tree kills germs. Eucalyptus opens the airways.
Go easy on it cos she's so young.
The only other thing that comes to mind is a milk allergy - do you drink cows milk? As a baby I was allergic to the protein in cows milk that my mother drank. It passes into breast milk. This can cause mucus. Maybe you could try not having any dairy for two weeks and see if that changes things?
