my 7 week old daughter is constipated and i was told i should not give her anything what can i do to help her i do the tummy massage with her legs but she seems like it hurts her

My children's pediatrician told me to give them a glycerin suppository. They come in Infants, but are sometimes hard to find. If you can't find them, buy the adult one's and cut them in half lengthways. If she is really constipated you may need to do this more than once because they tend to push the suppository out when they start going. Hope this helps!!
