My 9 year old daughter is acting out. I believe most of this stems from her feelings towards her uninvolved father. He was given noncustodial duties per The State of Texas Attorney General due to violent crime convictions. I have given him the option of contacting her any time. However, he has only seen her a hand full of times her whole life.

I don't think u need to annalyse or pin point her actions. It kind of puts a label on her that she may land up having because of it. Maybe talk with her and ask her what's bothering her. If that doesn't work u may want to take her to talk with a counsellor. Best to nip it in the butt..
