he is almost 6 now, Is this common, or something I should be worried about, I am gonna have the doctor check it out at his yearly check up in a few weeks, but I was just curious if anyone has experienced this? It doesnt hurt him, he just does it without knowing, he will take a couple flat footed steps then he walks on his tip toes!

My stepson has apparently always done it.... but I have 4 kids on the autism spectrum it depends what else he does not just toe walking are u concerned he may have a disability? Or that it may hurt his muscles ?

None of my kids have ever done that.
It's good your having him checked out. Just in case there is a problem.
