Personally I don't think it's something to get overly worried about. It's always a safe be to talk to your doctor and ask for a referral to a place where you can get him checked out to see if this is normal or if there is any sort of delay. Better safe than sorry right?

I wouldn't worry a whole lot about it though, some two year olds talk like crazy and others only have a few words. It's good to get him checked but don't stress over it.

If you want to help with that I always suggest trying to incorporate lots of reading into your daily life (before naptime, before bedtime, other times if he's willing) and maybe give him things that relate to his daily life if possible. My son LOVED reading when he was little and talked like crazy, not sure if there's a connection but the more you talk and interact with them the more opportunities they have to talk and things.

Like I said, talk to your doctor just in case, but don't stress about it, I don't think there's anything abnormal.
