My daaughter turned 33 yrs old yesterday. For the past two years she has been getting these attacks where she goes lame in the legs and arms. This lasts for a couple of minutes. This is followed by white blotches on her body. Is there anyone out there that has experienced the same thing or something similar and if so, what was the cause?

Your daughter needs to see a doctor, anything that causes numbness needs to be looked at straight away. Really it could be a number of things. Raynards disease is the first thing that springs to mind and is quite common but there is not treatment as far as I am aware. But as I say she really needs to see a doctor in case this is something serious.
