I need help with this bc some times its the hardest thing for me. Me and my husband understand every thing, but he hasn't been through death. My father just recently passed away and some times I feel that I just need to be hold and tell me I'm here for you. I just can't make him understand how difficult it is to deal with some thing like this...I try so hard to keep are relationship happy as I can be... but some times my sadness takes over me... my question is this??? How do try to make him understand that a loss is the hardest thing in the world?

People process grief differently, and it affects the same person differently depending on how close of a relationship you had with the departed. You should ask him for what you need. You can't expect him to just know how to help you. You should try to understand his point of view, that his way of processing grief might be different than yours, and not take offense if he's not doing the exact thing that you want. Help him realize that he doesn't have to understand your pain to be able comfort you. It may seem silly to him to sit and hold you, but if you tell him afterward just how much you appreciate him taking the time for you, then he should feel better about it.
