Two days ago when I was changing my 15 month old daughters diaper I noticed that she has a small red bump on her outer labia. It is a small area that is red and in the center it feels like there is a little lump. There is no white head on it like a pimple or anything, and it is just the one bump. I have been keeping an eye on it to see if it changed at all and it hasn't yet. I will be calling her Dr. tomorrow, but it the mean time I was hoping that maybe other moms could shine some light on this for me. Have any other moms had this happen to their daughter? What is it? I don't know if I need to worry or not, but it doesn't seem to bother her... Please help!!

My daughter had a red area on her & it turned out to be a yeast diaper infection caused from her medicine (amoxicillin) when she had an ear infection which also came along with thrush in her mouth. We used a store bought ointment to get rid of it. But the best thing is to call the Dr it could be something less serious.

It could be something as simple as a blocked sweat duct, but once your doctor takes a look, you'll know.
