Well, you could do what I did and just 'wait it out'. I started talking to my son around a year and a half telling him how he didn't need to nurse at night. He was a big boy and could wait til morning. Yeah, little stinker used to laugh at me when I said that. lol I talked about it every night for about 6 months though... finally something 'clicked' in him and he started sleeping through the night around 2 years old. For the past year to a year and a half (he's 3.5 now) the only times he wakes are to pee (extremely rare) or if he has a bad dream (also rare).

Many people will come up w/ other suggestions and try to get it done sooner, but they're only little for so long and the night wakings never bothered me TOO much.

That's how I did it. Take it or leave it. :)

Thank you. It sounds like another good way of doing it. I just cant bare to listen to her cry for hrs on end.......especially since she wakes frequently with wind.
