my daughter has been asking me if she could shave her legs, she's 13 almost going on to 14. I dont think she needs to because you can hardly see her leg hairs anyways, they're just a bit long and can only see them when up close. I find it unnecessary for her to shave her legs. I'm not sure if i should let her shave or not.

13 is plenty old enough. If SHE wants to do it... let her. It's not your body and there is nothing wrong with a TEENAGER wanting to shave her legs.

I'd definatly let my daughter shave at that age she's plenty old enough! I was the same at her age and my mum let me get on with it, never did me any harm

I started shaving at 12. I got made fun of by other kids when I was in my swim suit. Kids are mean. It's part of growing up. I personally think its a good age to sit her down and show her how to shave or at least talk to her about why she wants to start shaving. But that's my opinion.
