My daughter is 16 months and isnt walking yet. She is able to stand by herself, somentimes for couple of minutes and still loves to crawl. She start repeating some words that are familiar to her, like mama, papa, dada, etc. i asked some of the practitioners and they said its still normal and just need more confidence to step on her own. Is there anything that i can do to make her walk soon? Thank you for sharing mums

All kids develop at their own pace, so I wouldn't stress out about it. Just try to take her out and get her using all the muscles she needs to walk every day. As long as you give her opportunities to move around she'll probably figure it out quite soon.

You can also always put her into a toddlers gymnastics class or music and movement class. It's fun and it generally has kids moving around and trying to stregthen things and explore the world a little more than usual.

But like I said, all kids go at their own pace. I've met kids who couldn't talk when they were 2 and now chat me up non-stop. And the kid that walked at 11 months will end up being running around with the kid who didn't walk until they were 2, and you can't tell the difference by 4. Right? So don't stress to much.
