My daughter still wets the bed and she turned 6 in August. Any advice I am currently on medication for depression and also take a sleeping pil at night which means I don't get up in the middle of the night to take her to the bathroom! I am so frustrated with this situation that I would do anything now to get her to stop wetting the bed because it is degrading for her and my house smells like who knows what! Anyone please???

Pull ups and/or a mattress protector are really what is needed here. It shouldn't be degrading for her. Let her know that she is perfectly NORMAL and that many, many kids her age and older still wet the bed. So many kids do so that many peds won't even address the issue until a child is 8 (though some are more proactive).

Hi, dont worry too much about it.

First buy a good mattress cover, i use Luna Premium Hypoallergic 100% Waterproof mattress protector, so it does not wet the mattress. The brand is very washable and durable

I had the same problem with one of my daughters, she went to bed around 8 pm and wets the bed except when I wake her up in the middle of the night. So to fix, she does not take any liquid after 6.00p, if thirsty I give her a cube of ice, then I cahnged her bedtime to 9.00pm. that has helped and she is 8 now and hardly wets the bed

Good luck!
