I agree with Shawnn Lively. You're not stating if you have an order in place. But if you moved to TX AND provided you've been there for 6 months, you can file there IF you haven't already filed.

And what do the court orders say, regarding support? If he's in violation of court orders, he's in contempt. However, if there are no orders regarding support, you can't do anything but go back to court now and request support.

Hi Cheantel, I'm new to the site but have a lot of experience with the good ole court system. It depends on which state you're in. Most states have a 30 day limit so if the obligor is late paying past 30 days, then you can file a child abandonment warrant for non-payment of child support PROVIDED that you have a court order awarding you child support.

You can contact csa anytime u want if he is not working they cant do much if he is working and you know where. It makes it much easier for them to collect the sooner ypu organise this the better as they will claim from that day if u leave it too long u miss out on being backpaid also if u r meant to.b getting csa this will affect centrelink payments the sooner you get obto this the better if they collect it is less stress for you

what is his ordered support? How is he supposed to remit? (To you? To the court?)
