My kids go to bed at 8:45 everyday and wake up about 5 or 6. I am going to have a newborn soon and i have no idea how that going to affect things. My girls hate there bed time so i thought about chagning it. On weekends they can stay up until 9:45. Do you think these are good bedtimes or what should be a better time? And should i fit this in with a newborn? My girls are so use to naps at 12:00 bed at 8:45 and waking up for school at 6 or 5, or when they don't have school 7:00.

how old are your kids? I think 9:00 or 9:30 would be a good bedtime for older kids or teens, but my 8&9 year old go to bed at 7:30, so when they ask to get their bedtime later i could move it to 8-8:30 when they finally ask to make it later.

Thanks! I only give 2 sometimes one other a nap. Its just because the 4 year old gets grumpy and the other 2 has dance, gymnastic, or cheer about everyday. So always busy busy and busy!

My 7 yr old is asleep by 7:45 on the couch if i dont put her in bed an wakes up at 5:30. My son is 9 an goes to bed at 8:30 an is up at 6. Mine dont take naps tho anymore. Adjust their schedule based on your needs. Even if they dont fall asleep you can say were going to start having quiet time at 8 each night. And have them read a book in bed for 30 min before bed. So you get some peace at night An they might get used to that an fall asleep earlier for you.
