Clearly the previous poster is a teenage child, LOL.
Firstly, have you spoken to your child about this behaviour, and if so, how did the conversation go. Has your teenager had consequences for the behaviour? What sort of things are we talking about?

I think you should have a heart to heart talk. With your teenager, to know why that is happening. And then you know the next step to take that is making sure he/she gets what they want, meaning satisfying them in all aspect.
