My Two Year old will not sleep!

So my son just turned two and we finally took his night time bottle away from him. It has been a total nightmare! He will not calm himself without it. I have tried setting routine where we read a book, then I shut off the light and leave his sound maker on. He scream and cries and I usually go and get him at least 5-10 times to try to sooth him but as soon as he see's me he is all smiles and ready to play, full of energy!! I could only finally get him to sleep by putting on Baby First nighttime TV in his room, which was not a habit I wanted to start, but it worked! I thought I had a good thing going but now he started climbing out of the crib once I put him down and walks around the house! I am so worried about this and have no idea what to do to get my child to sleep! Any suggestions mommies?? I am sure this is quite common :)

something similar has happened in the past with my friends daughter. i recommended that she give her daughter a normal bottle for a few days and then start to mix something in it [of course something safe and not harmful!] that dosent taste to different but tastes bad so he wont crave it anymore and the thought will disgusted him. good luck!
