A similar question has been asked before but with first names beginning with "M". I am not expecting baby number two yet but I know the name game is hard and wanted to get a head start on it. My husband and I are looking for names that begin with "C". Our daughters name is Carissa. Any suggestions or ideas would be great for boy or girl. We are trying to stay with uncommon names.

I have recently heard of the names Carter and Campbell.  You could use either one for a boy or a girl.

My kids are Carter and Clara.  We are from Eastern Canada, and Ceilidh is a common girls name there (pronounced Kay-lee)

Quoting Toni:

Cerys or Caerys for girl or Caleb and Ciaran for a boy.

My little girl is cerys... we fell in love with it even more when we found out that it means " love" in welsh. (which just happens to be where she was concieved ) some how seemed very appropriate dont you think? south walians use cerys (cerris) and north walians use carys (carris) .. it suits her down to the ground.

My name is Cana, like Dana, just with a C.  There are a few of us on facebook.  Great, uncommon C name if I do say so myself!
