Need help getting my 5 year old stepdaughter to eat dinner!

When my husband and I have his daughter for visitation she refuses to eat our meals because they are not junk meals. She will even result to throwing up her food to make a point not to eat. We like to eat pretty healthy in our house and think the problem is coming from when she is with her mom. We have seen and heard first hand that she gets to chose what her mom makes for dinner and she always chooses junk (hot dogs, chicken nuggets, Mac and cheese, pizza, etc.) and then her mom will make it. She doesn't push healthy foods and allows her to eat sweets on a regular basis.
Here is an actual conversation between her and her mom.
Mom: "Caroline, what would you like for dinner when you come home?"
Caroline: "hot dogs!"
Mom: "we just had those the other day for dinner, but that's ok!"

My husband and I have tried many things to get her to eat but nothing seems to work. My theory is that she doesn't care because in a few short days she'll be back with her mom eating junk.

If anyone has any ideas or tips it would be greatly appreciated!

I would serve what is for dinner or whatever meal and tell her that is all there is and if she gets hungry enough she will eat it or go hungry. If she does not eat it, put it in the fridge and when she wants something take it back out and serve that to her. Do not give in to her. Eventually if she is hungry she will eat what you put in front of her. End of it.
