NEED HELP! Low energy and family is suffering.

Having serious issues with energy! I can't get up in the morning. The list of things to do are piling up. I feel like such a horrible mom. I know there is something seriously wrong with me. I have been to 2 different doctors about this. First one basically suggested that I get a life and would feel better. The second told me to try to go to bed earlier. I tried that and still wake up feeling the same. My 2 year old needs me and my home is becoming just an overwhelming task. I don't have insurance so I'm scared to spend anymore out of my pocket to see another doctor fearing I will get no help. If anyone else has gone through this, please help. Also, I have been taking iron supplements and that hasn't helped either

Go get checked for a sleep disorder called idiopathic hyper somnia, the symptoms are sleeping all the time no energy and brain fog. What makes it worse is sleep does nothing for it but make it worse! Home test may seem funny but try to stay up and only sleep 4 hours at night. If you feel better after a couple nights of this, then go get it tested at a sleep center. I've had this issue most of my life. There is no cure but some meds can help! Talk to your doctor!

Have you had your blood sugar levels checked? Or possibly checked for depression?

Or, it could be that you just need to donate a pint of blood. My doctor's first recommendation when I'm hitting a low energy phase is to donate blood. I'm not sure why, but it does help! She said it was something about blood thickness...that human blood naturally thickens, and if we donate, it forces the blood to thin out, and increases your energy...LOL...not a clue why or how that is, but that's what I pay her for, I guess!

So, I'd recommend a blood test. That would indicate any serious problems, or if you need to do something like donate. If that doesn't work have your doctor screen for depression.
