Need to know if anybody has used the Malem bedwetting alarm...?

I have a 6 year old son that still occasionally has nighttime accidents. My husband and the boys in his family had issues like this at his age too, and they just grew out of it eventually, but it took a long time. I don't want to do that to him. His pediatrician recommended the Malem bedwetting alarm, which alerts them when it senses moisture so the child can get up and use the bathroom. Has anyone else used this If so, how did it work for you? Normally, I would just buy it and use it, but since it is $120, I would like to know if it works first...

Thank you so much!!

one of my children bed wet for a while. The best advice I had (and goes against all instincts) was to increase her fluid intake - not excessively, but so that she got about the recommended fluid intake for her age. Strangely enough with the increase of her fluid intake and making sure that she didn't have too many drinks before bedtime, meant that she stopped bed wetting without the aide of medication and/or an alarm. she had tried medication before, but it wasn't affective.

Yes use that brand. I am having my daughter use it and it is taking a while but my friends all have success stories.

I haven't specifically used the Malem alarm but I had an alarm as a child and my eldest also used one. It worked for me it only took a couple of weeks) but my son slept right through the alarm which woke everyone in the house but him! He did eventually grow out of it but it was nothing we did, his body just matured.
