My 2 week old cant seem to find a bottle/nipple he likes. We tried nuk bottles which seemed to work fine for 2 days. Yet tonight at a feeding he refused it and we switched him to an avent bottle and he drank everything and didnt even fuss. Is it normal for a newborn to constantly change his mind about what bottles he likes??

I guess I shouldn't have made this first post so short. We started him with playtex venti air bottles in the beginning, which the slow nipples made him mad, and the faster flow nipples have him terrible gas and made him miserable. We then tried the nuk nipples and those worked for a few days, and now he wants the Avent nipples. I guess I just never heard of a child being so indecisive about which bottle. I know I shouldn't worry , as long as our little guy is eating successfully, yet there are some family members ( who apparently know everything) saying its weird and he should be sticking to one type of bottle and one feeding schedule.

It's happened once. Tonight. I would hardly say that is constantly changing his mind. In fact, I don't think you could even say he changed his mind at all. It could be anything. Maybe he was tired and the new nipple flowed easier for him so he didn't have to work as hard to be fed. It could be any number of things. how about you wait and see how he goes with the old bottles tomorrow before you worry that he has changed his mind about what he likes.
