I currently have the Mirena IUD, and I 100% HATE it. I am going to have it removed, but I don't know what birth control to switch to. Don't want a tubal, cause my honey and I are not sure that we're done, but I don't want to take the Pill cause I already have 2 kids and they have eaten my brain; I wouldn't remember a pill! I want to try the NuvaRing because it's non-permanent and I don't have to think about it daily. Any moms using this method? Do you like it? Any warnings?

I have used the NuvaRing in the past and then started it again 3 months ago. It is wonderful! I need to be on birth control to regulate my periods, but could never remember to take the pill bc of my busy schedule and 4 kids. Its great because you put it in and don't have to worry about it until its time to take it out. I highly recommend it! The side effects are just like the pill. The package comes with a 3 month supply so you can always try it for a few months and stop it if you don't like it.

I HATED it! Ick. I just did not enjoy putting it in and taking it out and my husband and I could always feel it during sex. I ended up with the implant in my arm. That's what works best for me :o) But I do recommend trying it - it is simple to use and I have heard people rave about how much they love it . . . . I am just not one of them!
