Id love to have another baby, have a 4 year old and l'll be 41 nxt june..is it harder to fall pregnant at that age? Anyone give me some reassurance! Thanks xx

Of course it is harder to fall pregnant at 41. Your fertility rate decreases from about the age of 35, so yes, you may find it more difficult than you did for your other child (fertility rate at 40 is about 5% per month). That doesn't mean it is impossible, but it may take longer, or you may even need some assistance from a fertility specialist, depending on what happens. Just be aware that miscarriages and complications are also higher at this age. I don't want to scare you, but these are just the facts.

I'm not an older mom but my mom is. My mom got pregnant with my youngest brother around that age. She had a fine pregnancy, got pregnant naturally, and there is no problems with my brother. He is now 13.
