Overwhelmed, need some advice/support

My baby boy is 3 weeks old and I'm just starting to feel better from c-sec. I hardly get any rest, haven't really been out the house ( since I was on bed rest in hospital before delivery for almost a month) is it normal to just feel like you just need to get away for a while? I feel like I'm being unfair to the baby. I'm 24 and I'm married, I just graduated college last year and I'm a first time mom.

Where is your husband? Yes it is normal and if you do no venture out you will fall into post pardaum (cant spell) depression if you are not starting to already. This is a natural depression that many women cannot stop from happening, however you can do things to help it and help yourself feel better. You are actually being unfair to you. When your husband comes homes from work or etc....tell him you are going shopping or even to Starbucks But be nice. But you need time for just you and if you are tired, then asked your husband to help you out more. Be fair to yourself. You can look at it this way too......if you don't give your husband alone time with the baby, then you are actually being unfair to them both in that manner. And if your baby is near a tired and stressed mommy, you are still being unfair to the baby as well as yourself. Be good to yourself and you will feel better.
