Go to another hospital, if you have a urine infection you NEED to be on antibiotics because it's bad for the baby and it can bring on labour. Demand they check your fluid, check the heart beat and REFUSE to leave until you have answers! Good luck.

Did the bleeding and all that just start today? It sounds like your amniotic fluid is leaking or something. You need to go to the hospital and tell them what is going on so they can check it out. Wear a pad or pantiliner to absorb the fluid then they can check it to see if it is amniotic fluid (at least that's what they do in Canada where I live). Phone your doctor too so he/she knows what is going on and can give you advice if you are unsure of mine.

Go back to the hospital and get this checked out as this does not sound right to me. As Heather said it sounds like the amniotic sac is leaking and if this is the case you will need to be monitored closely. Make an appointment today and do not leave that hospital until they can tell you exactly what is going on.

Is there a doctor you can go to since your midwife isn't available or another midwife? If you are willing, go back to the hospital and tell them you don't care what they think it is you want them to check if the fluid is amniotic fluid and you are not going to leave until they check. It only takes like a minute especially if you have a pad that has already absorbed some fluid that they can test. Stand your ground, don't let them dismiss your concerns, they may do what you want just to get you to go away and then you will know what it is and if something needs to be done. Good luck!

DEFINITELY get the fluid tested to see if it's amniotic. My cousin's husband was telling me the other day that their friend lost their baby at 38 weeks because she didn't know that waters breaking doesn't necessarily mean a big gush.

You shouldn't have to keep going back. They need to take you seriously even if they think you are wrong because the situation is obviously upsetting you and you don't need that kind of stress. I don't know if they are overworked or anything but the least they could do is check to see if the fluid is amniotic or not. That could go a long way to easing your mind if you knew it wasn't that. I think an ultrasound to check on your baby probably wouldn't hurt either. At least it would put your mind at ease. What has your midwife said about all this?

I bleed when i was pregnant for six weeks. it turned out just to be a blood pocket above my utuerus. However my doctor did keep a VERY close eye on me for those six weeks. Ultra sounds every week, blood work, checking for the heart rate. Seriously i was at the docotors or hospital all the time the first 6 months of my pregnancy. If i were you I would make them do an ultra sound. Maybe try a different hospital. Good Luck

Did the hospital contact your doctor? Or have you seen your doctor? Is there only one hospital you can go to in your area? Otherwise, I would definitely try a different hospital and talk to your doctor!

call your doctor and maybe try a different hospital - maybe you also can call first to the hospital to see their reaction, tell them about the bleeding! better to check it one time too often and nothing is wrong than having some trouble... i hope that everything is alright.
