Painful reality

I have a son 8 years-old and he was molested by his father. It started when he was 7 years old. My son disclosed it to me in January this year. Since then it has been a painful process. I went to the police and all the case started. My husband didn't get arrested, he got a lawyer and still he is working. He doesn't have access to my son but to my daughter 11 years-old. He used to be a good father and husband and that makes the things more unbelievable!! He is a very high ranked professional. In the other hand I stayed home to take care of the kids, abandone my career and living what it seemed to be a perfect life. On top of everything I don't have family here because we are immigrants. I've never had left my country and make a dream with this man knowing he is sick and was abused before. Now my life is a nightmare, with fear of how I will sustain my kids and house in case he goes to jail.

Hearing how to cope with this situation will be very appreciated.

I wish I had some solid and helpful advice to give. I know there are counseling services and resources out there but it depends on where you live. Usually, the bigger the city the more diverse and accessible the resources. There should be court appointed advocates that can help in certain aspects. I will keep you in my thoughts and hopefully, someone else can chime in with some more useful information for you.
