I have a 8 month old son and as pancake day is 2 days away I wanted to know if I can give him pancake, if so what is the best recipe to use.

I'd let him have some pancake, if he's interested. Tear it into small pieces and go to town!

I am one who always gave my babies my food as soon as they would take it. At 5 months old i fed my now 2 year old banana bread (without nuts due to possible choking hazard) all the time. Some will tell you not to. But it has been proven that by starting solids late you actually cause more food allergies.

Anyways any type will do.I would say something fluffy and soft would work the best. Avoid syrup and butter... and maybe add some fruit in it if you want.
