PJRT best surgical opinion for a 16 month old

We have a 16 month old in the family on flecinade for PJRT but often her heart rate gets very high. The current doctor recommends waiting for surgery, partially because he has never operated on children this young for PJRT. Does anyone know of a surgeon who has operated on children this age so that we can get an opinion from someone who can take into account all the risk we are incurring with the episodes, medicine, etc.

What type of surgery are you facing? An ablation, pacemaker or actual change of the anatomy. Is your surgeon a pediatric surgeon? If so, I'd trust his judgement but if this a a doctor who is used to working on adults, I'd seek an opinion from a pediatric cardiologist or cardio-thoracic surgeon.
