My 10 week old baby ( born 6 wks premature) is very constipated and I need some advice. At times, she is in so much pain. I made the mistake of adding a little bit of rice cereal to her nightime bottle a couple nights in a row thinking it would help her sleep better at night.... Then all of this started, so I stopped of course. Her stomach gets tight and her legs get super tight. I called the Dr. yesterday and they told me to give her an ounce and a half of prune juice a day. I started this yesterday and she did have some diarrea type poop and a very hard stool mixed in there. This morning, she is in pain again and I'm doing the riding a bike movements with her legs and pushing her legs against her tummy. She just had a stool stuck and I kept doing the movements and then a few minutes later, it went back inside of her. She isn't in constant pain, but when she is it's unbearablefor both of us. Any suggestions on what I can do to help her?

The prune juice will help just keep doing it until she is all cleared out.
