It's funny how everyone knows when it's 'show your cleavage day' but few are aware its National child protection week. Make a difference

Child Abuse; pass it on please!!

My name is Sarah

I am but three,

my eyes are swollen

I cannot see.

I must be stupid,

I must be bad,

what else could have made

my daddy so mad?

I wish I were better,

I wish I weren't ugly,

then maybe my Mommy

would still want to hug me.

I can't speak at all,

I can't do a wrong

or else I'm locked up

all the day long.

When I awake I'm all alone

the house is dark

my folks aren't home.

When my Mommy does come

I'll try and be nice,

so maybe I'll get just

one whipping tonight.

Don't make a sound!

I just heard a car

my daddy is back

from Charlie's Bar.

I hear him curse

my name he calls

I press myself

against the wall.

I try and hide

from his evil eyes

I'm so afraid now

I'm starting to cry.

He finds me weeping

he shouts ugly words,

he says its my fault

that he suffers at work.

He slaps me and hits me

and yells at me more,

I finally get free

and I run for the door.

He's already locked it

and I start to bawl,

he takes me and throws me

against the hard wall.

I fall to the floor

with my bones nearly broken,

and my daddy continues

with more bad words spoken.

'I'm sorry!' I scream

but its now much too late

his face has been twisted

into unimaginable hate.

The hurt and the pain

again and again

oh please God, have mercy!

oh please let it end!

And he finally stops

and heads for the door,

while I lay there motionless

sprawled on the floor.

My name is Sarah

and I am but three,

tonight my daddy

murdered me.

There are thousands of kids out there just like Sarah. And you can help

It sickens me to my soul, and if you just read this and don't pass it on I pray for your forgiveness, because you would have to be one heartless person to not be affected by this email. And because you are affected, do something about it!! So all I am asking you to do is take some time to send this on and acknowledge that this stuff does happen, and that people like her dad do live in our society , and pray for child abuse to wither out and die, but also pray for the safety of our youth.

Please pass this poem on as a Blue Ribbon Against Child Abuse because, as crazy as it might sound, it might just indirectly change a life.

Hello, I am a survivor of over 20 years of abuse. Mine started when I was around five or six. But.... it wasn't my parents who raped, tortured, tormented me, it was two of my step-brothers. Then when I grew up I ended up in a relationship with a two time golden glove who beat me for eight more years. I was blessed enough to get out. Many aren't so lucky. My heart goes out to anyone still in this type of situation because I feel their pain. Anyways.... felt the need to type this I hope you all don't mind my telling you... Have a blessed day.....

I have children who my X husband has abused. How do we get Justice. Everywhere I go is dead ends I do not want money I just want him in jail!! We go threw hours of flash backs, melt downs, behavior issues anxiety. Does anyone have any sugestions? Police dead end. DHS found evedience of abouse but droped the ball. How can life ever be normal? I want to protect and stand up and show them justice.

I'm forever thank ful that my Mum left my social father before I was born, other wise, we would not be here today.

I don't understand how any parent could do this to a child. There are soo many couples out there who cannot have children of their own, but some of those who can, beat the living day lights out of them.

I hope karma gets them.

This makes me sick to my stomach. That someone can actually hurt their own child.

This makes me heartbroken. now when I hear about all those parents on the news who hurt there children or kill them it just makes me mad because there are people out there who would love to take them and raise them as there own. i support the blue now and forever as a mommy.

I have worked my whole life to end violence against women and children however we continue to hear these types of stories. Until our Government steps in and our laws hold people more accountable things will never change.

My heart is broken to pieces when reading this. I cannot imagine how anyone can do such terrible things to anyone...much less an innocent, helpless child. May God have mercy on these little ones. I pray for their protection and I pray that we all will step in and help out however we can.

There are no words to describe the feeling provoked by reading this or other stories similiar to this. It bring tears everytime! I pray for all the children abused by dads, moms, and other family members! It breaks my heart when I look at my own grandchildren and how beautiful they are and how special they are to me and to think any one could hurt any child just as beautiful and special in this world. It does not matter the nationality or age, a child is to be cherished and taught, love not abused and ridiculed! Chilren are precious and innocent are should be hugged not beat! I am not a violent person, however people who mistreat children, when caught, should the same offense done to them!
